From intelligent wellhead control and precise electronic flow meters to a full-featured SCADA host, Ni can enhance production and provide a quicker return on your investment.
The economical Ni EFM3000 Electronic Flow Meter provides accurate and reliable flow measurement at your wellhead, pipeline or gathering system. Utilizing state-of-the-art industry components, including an Emerson-Rosemount dual-variable 205 pressure sensor, this meter has been designed to operate in the most demanding applications. The Ni EFM3000 provides all the functionality and accuracy producers and pipeline operators require for their custody transfer applications.
Various packaging options are available, including a design with agency approval for installation in Class 1, Division 1, Group D hazardous environments. A second all-in-one configuration features an all weather NEMA 4 stainless steel enclosure, agency approved for Class 1, Division 2, Group D environments. It offers a 4 line X 20 character “through the door viewing” LCD and options including an internal 12Vdc battery pack with charge regulator circuits, a custom sized solar panel, and various communications device configurations. The unit is also field upgradeable to include Ferguson Beauregard’s patented Auto-Cycle™ plunger-lift wellhead production control.
Communications device configurations include spread spectrum and licensed radio systems, analog and digital cellular (CDPD), and satellite modems. A built-in communications “sleep” mode helps extend the autonomy of the Ni EFM3000, making it an ideal candidate for low power applications.
For the more extensive applications, the Ni EFM3000 comes standard with 4 analog inputs, 2 discrete inputs, and 1 discrete output. In addition, the serial communications interface utilizes the industry standard Modbus protocol, supported by many 3rd party SCADA systems.
The EFMaintainer PC software has been judged by industry users to be the most “user friendly” configurator available. Quick and easy to install, the EFMaintainer provides technicians and operations personnel an intuitive user interface for set-up and configuration. The EFMaintainer also supports local and remote communications for retrieval of measurement data, reports, alarms, logs and other audit records. This information can be exported to local reports and in proprietary file formats including Flow-Cal and PGAS
