System User Interface

We have made the system simple and easy to use for all users, whether in the field or in the office. Our Windows-based user interface has been designed with production automation needs in mind. Views are created utilizing "drag and drop" technology from a "toolbox" of preconfigured objects. A field view provides a graphical overview of the fields performance. Production data is displayed in a graphical representation of each well, making access to critical information no more than a mouse click away.

Walk-up SCADA(tm)

The Ferguson Beauregard AutoCycle(tm) Plus host system gives operators the capability to remotely view and manage field production. With the addition of "Walk-up SCADA(tm)", users have the ability to gather non-telemetry data from the field and seamlessly integrate it with the AutoCycle(tm) Plus system. The result is a "total field data capture" capability that allows the paperless flow of data throughout the enterprise from the field to the corporate production reporting system.

Once at the wellhead, the operator records pressures, temperatures, flow rates, tank levels, and notes indicating equipment and metering changes on his PC or pentop recorder. Input for each well is easily customized so that only the appropriate data for each well is entered. A pre-determined route can be setup for each pumper. All manually entered data is in a format that is completely compatible with the AutoCycle(tm) Plus telemetry data on the host computer. When the operator returns from the field office, data is automatically synchronized with the host computer, updating the system with current wellhead/field information.

Future plans for "Walk-up SCADA(tm)" include the integration of wireless technologies in the RTU and mobile device. Communication and data exchange will occur seamlessly without the need for a physical link at the wellhead or in the field office. In addition, portable devices including the Pocket PC platform will be offered as an option for the mobile computing environment.
